Formerly a popular Indian restaurant called Aatish, Phở Ellie continued to use halal meats to accommodate the Muslims who continued showing up. The result is a rare Vietnamese halal restaurant in the United States. Besides the most popular phở (Vietnamese noodle soup) dish, customers can sample a variety of meals such as cubed chicken rice plates, beef stew with French bread or delicious grilled shrimp/egg roll vermicelli.
