Danville Muslim Community Centre was founded on December 12th 2012. First Saturday of Every Month: A family friendly event, Danville Muslim Community Center sponsors a monthly potluck family night for family, friends and community members. Sisters meet the last Saturday of each month beginning at 10:00 am. With a focus on Sisterhood, Fellowship and Community Support, Sisters of Danville Masjid, Friends and Family are encouraged to share in a child friendly, potluck style brunch and clothing swap. A traditional Halaqa is held the 3rd Sunday of each month for Sisters only, 2pm. Islamic School: Every Tuesday (Maghrib to Isha) and Saturday 10 AM to Dhuhar. Brothers of Danville Masjid meet every Wednesday at 6 pm for a Arabic Training Class with a focus on recitation and Quranic Arabic. Twelve week New Muslim Class every 90 days. The class is designed for the Muslim with ten or less years in the deen, and focuses on fundamentals including, How To Approach Holidays, The Changing of Names, Working With Non-Muslims Interacting With Non-Muslim Family, The Importance of Marriage, How To Properly Offer Wuduu/Perform Salaat and much more.
